Alternator Rectifier

Description

The alternator produces alternating current, but since the car battery is of the direct current type, a component called a diode must be used to direct the current between the alternator and the battery. This diode is responsible for converting AC current to the DC required by the battery. The output current from an alternator is converted to direct current by a set of diodes.
